My Vacation Haven is a proud sponsor of the 2014 Destin Charity Wine Auction as part of the SWBWFF. A special thank you to the MVH owners who have donated their properties to provide accommodations for the event’s vintners and chefs!
South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival is an annual charity event held the last weekend of April. The festival features a stunning showcase of the best wines the world has to offer. Celebrity wine producers and chefs present fine wine and food pairings from the world’s most famous appellations. The Savor South Walton Culinary Village offers a sumptuous array of foods to taste, wines to pair, as well as wine and food seminars, cooking demonstrations and live entertainment. The event is a major fundraiser for Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation, which benefits children in need in Northwest Florida. For more information visit www.dcwaf.org.
Friday, April 25
Winemakers and Shakers $40
4pm – 6pm –Wine World in Destin
Join us as we host honored winemakers and shakers from some of the top wineries in the world and taste great wine.
Craft Beer & Craft Spirit Jam $40
6pm – 9pm – Town Center and Grand Park
Taste and enjoy specialty craft beers and spirits from the hottest breweries and distilleries in the country. Meet the people who make these lively libations. Live concert will rock the house.
Saturday, April 26
VIP Wine Tasting $150
11am – 1pm – Grand Park
For the ultimate wine experience, the VIP Tasting has top wine celebrities presenting and pouring rare and collectable wines. Express entry to Saturday’s Grand Tasting is included in ticket price.
Grand Wine Tasting $85
1pm – 5pm – Town Center and Culinary Village
Over 800 wines to sample at the Grand Tasting, Savor South Walton Culinary Village, tasting seminars and live entertainment.
After-Party and Concert $60
7pm – 9pm – Town Center and Grand Park
Chill out with great live music by South Walton’s own Dread Clampitt, delicious “after-party” food including Kobe beef burgers dressed with artisanal cheeses, craft beers and great wine.
